James: Mondo's bringing by a Rocket meal!
Jessie: That's good to hear. Tell him I said hi. (winks)
James: I will... you know, he still has that crush on you.
Jessie: Well... it's understandable, really
James: Ah but of course... (Jealous chuckle)
Jessie: Our little Mondo-chan… of course, he's hardly the man I'd want to spend my life with…
James: Oooeeeeeoooohoo hoo!
Jessie: I love that laugh. (smiles) We really haven’t gotten much time to talk lately… Pika-snatching takes up so much time, you know.
James: Oh I know... and then there’s the chore of looking this good! (Sighs) It’s a burden few can handle.
Jessie: That's why there are so few beautiful people in the world… and as Team Rocket members, we're in the forefront! (Checks reflection in compact mirror)
James: (Checking reflection over her shoulder) Ah, beauty before duty!
Jessie: So very true! It's too bad those other Rockets don't agree with us.
James: I know.... what hopeless cases...
Jessie: Then again, I guess they'd have to opt for duty, being so disadvantaged in the beauty department.
James: Hee hee… especially Botch.
Jessie: (Gives an evil chuckle)
James: Even if he looked good hed still have that voice! Not to mention that partner…
Jessie: How many packs a day is he up to now? 4? 5?
James: 6 or 7 by my count. It picked up last time he was in jail
Jessie: And that Cassidy! Thinking she knows everything! I can't understand why the Boss likes those 2 losers... we've only been arrested once!
James: I don't know... the Boss was pretty pissed last time… and we always get ourselves out!
Jessie: Yeah!
James: No need for bail with us!
Jessie: Well, your lockpick abilities *do* come in handy…
James: And your beauty's the perfect distraction....
Jessie: (Blushes) Keep saying those things so true… By the way, where did you pick up your lockpicking skills, anyway?
James: You learn incredible things when locked up by a psycho fiancée.
Jessie: (Eyes narrow like Brock's) Her .
James: How could someone who looks so much like you still be so ugly?
Jessie: If I EVER see her again... well, actually, Meowth has it all planned out.
James: Oooh! Do i wanna know?
Jessie: We had this idea the other day... we can charge exorbitant prices for people to witness: "Meowth's Cat Fights"
James: Oooh hee hee hee
Jessie: I can finally settle some long-overdue scores. First with that fiancée of yours, then…
James: Hmmm… Misty?
Jessie: Sure! Then Cassidy…
James: What about that other girl twerp?
Jessie: Hmm?
James: Tracey?
Jessie: (Laughs) Why not?
James: Oooh Jessie! You're the Cooooooooooolest!
Jessie: I'll let that one slide, since you're flattering me so well. (Plays w/ James's disarrayed lock of hair)
James: (smiles)
Jessie: You are getting better… at flattery.
James: Ah well... it's a gift at times... much like my incredible skill as a Pokemon thief....
Jessie: (Stares at him)
James: Um, wait a second...
Jessie: I might not go that far.
James: Oh I would! And farther (Glint glint)
Jessie: You are certainly in rare form today.
James: I try.
Jessie: (Handing James a rose) I believe this is yours.
James: (Places the rose gently behind her ear and smiles)
Jessie: (Blushes) You are so cute.
James: Blushing, Jess?
Jessie: (Looks away)
James: It's ok... don't hide it… (Hugs her close)
Jessie: Oh, James..
James: Mmm Jessie....
Jessie: (Gently kisses his cheek)
James: (Closes eyes, grinning)
Jessie: (Blushes again) Maybe I shouldn't have done that...
James: Oh, no, Jess... that was the perfect thing to do...
Jessie: I'm never sure if I'm doing the right thing… I’ve been burned in the past.
James: I know, Jess, I know... but I swear I would never do that.
Jessie: (Gazing up at him) Really?
James: (Softly) Really.
Jessie: (Eyes sparkle)
James: (Looking deep into her eyes) Jess?
Jessie: Yes?
James: Do you know how long I've adored you?
Jessie: I have no idea...
James: Do you remember your first day at Pokemon Tech? When you saw that little blue-haired boy getting the crap knocked out of him? And you ran up yelling, ‘You leave him alone!’
Jessie: And when I went over and smacked those guys' heads together? And got detention on my first day.
James: (Smiling) Ever since then....
Jessie: I remember you waited after for me.
James: I picked my first rose while watching you through that detention room window...
Jessie: And you tossed it through the window and it landed on my desk…
James: I had to duck so the teacher wouldn't see... but you knew, didn't you?
Jessie: I could just see the top of your head out the window… (smiles) How could I ever forget that day?
James: I know I never have...
Jessie: I could never tell you how much you've meant to me.
James: Or how much you’ve meant to me... I would've died on the St. Anne if not for you...
Jessie: But how could I have lived without you?
James: I couldn't have without you. All the wealth in the world couldn't pull me away from you.
Jessie: I was never happier than when you appeared in the balloon... you remember?
James: I remember...
Jessie: When I thought you were never coming back... I... I didn't know what I was going to do… life just didn't seem worth it anymore
James: I was never happier than when I lifted you in with me… you were light as air that day, you know....
Jessie: I… I wanted to tell you how I felt about you that day.
James: So did I... the words wouldn't come but I think my eyes told you somehow... did they?
Jessie: Yes... I feel the same way. I think I blabbered something about us having our freedom... then I felt so stupid. I mean, what a thing to say!
James: Oh, it was perfect...
Jessie: I felt like an idiot. 'We sure have got our freedom.' What kind of thing is that?
James: You could've called me a moron, it would’ve been worth it to hear your voice.
Jessie: (Melts)
James: Just to close my eyes and feel my hands on your waist... Heaven was really close in that balloon.
Jessie: From that moment, I could never imagine being with anyone but you.
James: Same with me.... (Holds her in his arms for a moment in silence) Oh, thank you Jess...
Jessie: Thank you? For what?
James: For being you, for being special, for being as wonderful as you are.
Jessie: You too! (Softly) Thank you for accepting me the way I am.
James: (Blushes) Oh, I'm not that great....
Jessie: Of course you are!
James: I wouldn't want you any other way.
Jessie: Nor would I for you.
James: You're a perfect match for me Jess... just you.
Jessie: We match each other exactly and I wouldn't want things any other way.
James: Neither would I.
Jessie: You know, I used to wonder... what would have happened had we not flunked out of Pokemon Tech?
James: We'd still be together... I know we would. You see, I made a promise to myself that day outside of detention....
Jessie: Oh?
James: As long as I could help it, with God as my witness, I'd never be without you in my life again… and I never have.
Jessie: Even though I seem to bring you nothing but trouble?
James: The joy outweighs the trouble.
Jessie: But you'd have a perfect life of luxury otherwise…
James: I'd have luxury but it would never be perfect… at least, not without you.
Jessie: I had nothing until I had you.
James: I had everything and still had nothing before you… now we have each other and it’s all I ever need.
Jessie: I don't care if we never become rich... because in my heart, we already are.
James: (Takes her hands in his) Don't ever change, Jessica.
Jessie: As long as you promise that you won't.
James: I promise.
Jessie: (Slightly flirty) You know, a promise isn't exactly official until it's sealed...
James: (Surprised, but not unpleasantly so) With a kiss?
Jessie: (Closes eyes)
James: (Closes eyes and pulls her close, gently pressing his lips to hers)
Jessie: (A short while later) It's as I always dreamed it would be.
James: Mmm… it's more wonderful than I ever imagined... I only wish we'd done it s sooner...
Jessie: As do I… after all these years, I'd always longed for this moment.
James: I have ever since I tossed that rose to you... I wanted to put in your hair... just like now...
Jessie: I wanted to put it there, but that would have given you away… and I never want to hurt you.
James: You could only hurt me in a good way, Jessie.... even hurt from you is heavenly because it's from you.
Jessie: I regret all those times I become frustrated with you. (Starts to break down) I never mean to hurt you, you're the only one who's ever cared about me…
James: (Comfortingly) Oh, Jessie... it's all in the past... (Lifts up her head in his hands) Let’s just remember that day... that ever so special day.... when a perfect young girl saved a little overly-sensitive wuss…and showed him what love is.
Jessie: It remains imprinted in my heart forever… when a tomboy with an attitude saved a sweet boy from a bunch of bullies… and learned that someone out there cared for her.
James: Let’s mix the 2...
Jessie: Sounds great to me, James.
James: Sounds perfect to me… I love you with all my heart, Jessie… Always.
Jessie: I could never begin to describe how I feel for you…
James: You don't have to... I already know....
Jessie: From then... to now... to the day that the twerp gets a brain... (Smiles)
James: Hee hee… longer than eternity… until Tracey wins a popularity contest....
Jessie: Or until Tracey gets a date… with a girl.
James: (Grins)
Jessie: It's so fun to mock Tracey, isn't it?
James: Oh yes.... and so easy too.
Jessie: Hardly any challenge, yet ... still fun.
James: Just like loving you.... extremely easy and fun.
