Hi! I'm Musachan!

This is an OC fic. You hate them, I KNOW.

But I'd just like to say that the idea of a Red Rocket is not mine! It belongs to Allan North, webmaster of this site. I suggest you go read 'Criminal' (Great fic), 'Revenge' (Another great fic) and 'The Vendetta' (Another great fic) to understand more about the rank of Red Rocket. Also, you will learn about my personal favorite Red Rocket, Annie B. Masterson ^_~

NOTE FROM ALLAN: Thanks for the acknowlegdement, Musachan! Enjoy "Seeing Red", everyone!

With that said, enjoy ~_~

As the dainty fingers picked up the round, pink ball the creature at her feet jumped excitedly.

First, the young girl passed the ball from one hand to the other, teasing her little dog as it desperately wanted to play fetch.

Soon, the creature's desperation grew into frustration.

"Vui!", it barked. The girl smiled thinly. "Okay, Eevee. Ready?"

Eevee nodded rapidly. "Vui!"

She giggled, and raised the pink ball over her head. "Go fetch, Eevee!"

The second her hand released the ball Eevee tore after it. The ball bounced hard against a lamp, breaking it, and rolled at a high high-speed out her door. Eevee continued to chase it.

She clapped her hands over her mouth. "Oops!"

Eevee chased after the ball, not letting it's brown eyes waver from it's pink color. As it rounded a corner it crashed into a young woman holding a stack of papers. The papers went flying each way down the hall, and she grimaced.

The woman sighed, and huffed her golden locks from her eyes, fixing them back into their perfect ringlets. She looked around for hat, and saw that the Eevee had begun to chew at it.

"You mutt! Give me back my hat!", she screamed, pulling at it. Eevee thought this was a game of tug o' war, and began to pull hard at the hat.

The young girl peeked her head around the corner, her brown locks flowing from her ponytail which was kept up with a cute, yellow bow. She saw the chaos that she had caused.

However, when she saw the victim all of her guilt vanished.

"Oh, sorry Domino", she said, a wicked grin along her face. "I guess we got out of control."

"You aren't sorry, Janet! You never are", Domino huffed, finally pulling her pink and white hat from Eevee's grasp. The brown dog galloped over to it's master.

Janet made a tsking sound. "Daddy won't be happy that you took that tone with me, Domino."

Domino darted her eyes down the hallway, searching for the father in question. She then smirked at the younger girl. "Oh yeah? Who's he gonna believe? You, or me?"

"Me", Janet said defiantly. "Or else I'll call my Mommy."

The older girl's confidence did not waver. "Like I'm afraid of your mom."

"No, you aren't. But Daddy sure is", the brunette grinned. She smiled a wicked smile that struck her violet eyes with a look of malice. "And he'll do whatever I want him to."

Nonchalantly, Janet took a cellphone from her pink skirt and waved it before Domino. "See this? It has the number of every gossip on speed-dial. Now, unless you want them to know that you've been drooling over that White Rocket..."

"Mondo?!", Domino whimpered.

"Yeah, the trainee", Janet teased. "I can call any one of these gossips and the whole building will know in less than an hour."

"You wouldn't", Domino said, face loosing all confidence. "Would you?"

"I won't... If you clean this up and clean my room", the brunette told her. Domino hung her head with a sigh. "Oh, all right."

"Now, do you know where Daddy is? I want to ask him something", she said, letting her hands fall at her waist. Domino thought a moment. "He should be in his office."

The blonde gave the girl a malicious frown. "Just don't you tell anyone I like Mondo."

"My lips are sealed-- For now", Janet replied, bending down and picking up her Eevee.

With a giggled, Janet ran down the hallway to her father's office, stopping just outside the cold, oak doors. She knew that these doors would not open without a key card.

She also knew that he father hid a key card under the intercom.

She pulled the gray box from the wall, and took out the red card, and slid it across the lock. The doors came open, and there was a desk in the middle of the dark room.

"Who's there?", a voice gruffed. "I distinctly requested no visitors today!"

"Daddy?", Janet chirped. The voice was quiet for but a moment.

"Yes, sweetie?"

Janet smiled, and walked up to the desk, resting her beloved Eevee on the mahogany

"Daddy, I was thinking. You spend a lot of time working, and, well, you never seem to have time for me ... So can I ask you a question?"

Her father's chair spun around, revealing a man in his late twenties with a stone cold face. "No", he said sharply.

"Daddy!", Janet burst out in frustration.

"No", he replied, folding his hands on the desk.

"Daddy why won't you listen?", the girl scowled.

"Because I know what you're going to ask", he replied. Janet frowned.

After a moment of tense silence, the two said in unison, "Can I be a Rocket?"

Her father's tone was a mocking, childish voice, but it quickly returned to normal. "Janet, this is the seventh time this month you've asked me to be a Rocket, and each time I say no."

"But why not!?", Janet sniffled, her eyes brimming with tears. "You never let me do anything."

"I let you release half the Ryhorn from the Safari Zone. I think that was enough Rocket excitement for you", he told her sternly.

Janet frowned, and folded her arms over her chest crossly. "But you never pay any attention to me anymore."

Her father raised his eyebrows, feeling a twinge of guilt. It had been many months since she had left the base. Perhaps she needed a vacation.

"I know you want out of the base, even if it means becoming a Rocket, Janet, but I cannot allow you to do that. However, I can plan for you to have a vacation. The Orange Archipelago, perhaps?", he asked, standing up and smiling down at his daughter.

Janet felt a sweatdrop form on her forehead. "Daddy, I don't need a vacation. I just want to be a Rocket!", she whined. Her father frowned sternly. "But why?"

"Adventure, attention, weapons, and cute Pokemon, of course!", Janet chirped.

He continued to frown. It couldn't be too bad. He could send her on a few joke missions, let her have her kicks. Once she got bored, which she always did, she'd come home and the fascination with being a Rocket would be over.

He pushed down on a red button, and spoke down at an intercom at his desk. "Domino."

The intercom fizzed, and it came a blurred reply. "Yes, Giovanni?"

"Get me a size ten, female White Rocket uniform, if you please", he said. He pictured the image of his sweet daughter in that uniform, and shook his head. "Make that a male uniform."

"Size ten?! Who's the new recruit, an anorexic?!", Domino asked hotly.

Janet frowned. "Daddy, I wanna be one of those Rockets you always pay attention to. You know, the ones in the pretty, red uniform."

Giovanni's eyes widened. "A Red Rocket?! You?! Janet, don't be ridiculous!"

"But Daddy", Janet whined.

"Absolutely not", he said coldly.

Janet pulled out her cell phone. "Don't make me tell Mommy."

Images of Giovanni's former wife flashed through his mind. Her tall, curved body. Her flowing brown locks. Her bright violet eyes.

Her Police Chief's uniform.

He shook his head. "N-no! What I meant is, well, of course you can sweetie!"

He talked down to the intercom again. "Make it a Red Rocket, male uniform, size ten, Domino."

"A Red?! But sir-- I'm not even a Red, yet!"

"Do not question me!", Giovanni bellowed. The intercom was silent.

"Yessir", Domino replied weakly.

Within moments, Domino walked through the wide oak doors, carrying the uniform her boss had requested. At seeing Janet's smiling face, she dropped the uniform in complete disbelief.

"Sir! You can't be serious!", she said in total shock. Janet waved her trust cell phone. "Mondo", the young girl mouthed. Domino face-faulted.

"I mean, what a perfect choice, sir! I couldn't be happier for you!", she said with fake sincerity. She picked up the uniform and handed the uniform to the younger girl.

As Domino exited the room with a look of disgust, she mumbled, "This is ridiculous."

Janet squealed, hugging the uniform to her chest. "I'm gonna be a Red Rocket! I'm gonna be a Red Rocket!"

Giovanni sat at his desk, and hit his head against the wood over and over. "Why me?"
